Job summary

The Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada (ITCN) AoA Program seeks a Community Outreach Specialist to engage nine Tribal communities in rural Nevada, serving as a liaison among Tribal administrations, AoA staff, elders, and partners.

This role emphasizes cultural competence, coordination, outreach, and program compliance, with extensive travel to tribal sites and collaborative work with Tribal leadership and community members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Experience with Tribal Nations, nonprofit or aging programs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary outreach resource for the AoA Program and nine Tribal communities.
• Coordinate community activities, meetings, events, and program needs.
• Maintain calendar of events for nine Tribal communities in coordination with Tribal Administration.
• Assist with grants, reporting, and program compliance.
• Travel to the nine Tribal communities to conduct site visits and outreach.
