Job summary

Bowman and Brooke LLP in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Trial Ready Litigation Paralegal to join our team. You will support case teams with document preparation, discovery, trial support, and medical record analysis across high-exposure litigation.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate and 4+ years of litigation defense experience, with the ability to travel nationwide and follow billing guidelines precisely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate or equivalent education/experience required.
• 4+ years’ litigation defense experience required.
• Must be able to travel nationwide to attend trial.
• Familiar with client billing guidelines and accurate billing entries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit and proofread a variety of documents (correspondence, agreements and pleadings).
• Work with attorneys to keep litigation advancing in each case and regularly update team members.
• Assist attorneys with discovery, including requests, depositions and subpoenas.
• Assist with document review and analysis through various platforms.
• Manage electronic case files using iManage to keep information organized.
• Prepare for trial, including compiling materials, coordinating witnesses and exhibits.
• Gather and analyze complex medical records to prepare chronologies.
