Job summary

Dowd Bennett LLP in Dallas seeks an experienced trial paralegal to join our team. You will work with attorneys on complex commercial litigation, focusing on discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitration, and trial prep.

The role requires 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, familiarity with Relativity, and proficiency in trial presentation technology. Occasional travel and extended hours during trials or deadlines are expected.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
Experience supporting trials and hearings.
Experience with e-discovery platforms such as Relativity.

Responsibilities

Manage document collection and productions with clients, vendors, opposing parties, and third parties.
Prepare and maintain discovery materials and document databases.
Organize case evidence, witness files, chronologies, deposition materials, and other substantive case resources.
Prepare deposition exhibits and assist attorneys with deposition and witness preparation.
Compile exhibits, appendices, demonstratives, and other materials for motions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
Assist with complex filings and perform quality control of exhibits, citations, hyperlinks, and record references.
Prepare and maintain exhibit lists, trial notebooks, deposition designations, and other trial materials.
Attend and support depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials as needed, including management of exhibits and trial-presentation technology.
Work with attorneys to anticipate case needs and ensure materials are ready for use.
