Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Jersey City is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice. You will manage motor vehicle liability cases in litigation, representing plaintiffs, with focus on trial preparation and trial.

The successful candidate will have a law degree, NJ Bar admission, 3+ years in PI/auto liability, and a proven ability to handle high-volume litigation, deliver excellent client service, and effective advocacy.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Active State Bar Association membership in NJ required.
• 3+ years of Personal Injury / auto liability / MVA experience preferred.
• Ability to manage high volume litigation caseload.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy abilities.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of litigation cases
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda
• Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
