Job Description

The Senior Consultant II represents insureds and the Company in defending bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases. The role involves preparing for and conducting hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare for and conduct settlements and dispositive proceedings (e.g., mediations, arbitrations).
2. Prepare for and conduct court appearances such as matter management conferences, hearings, and status conferences.
3. Investigate and pursue subrogation litigation as appropriate.
4. Prepare for, try, and/or arbitrate cases; develop motions in limine and summary documents.
5. Review new file assignments, documentary evidence, approve initial pleadings, propound discovery, and develop strategies.
6. Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials, including expert witnesses.
7. Contact clients to discuss cases and answer questions.
8. Conduct depositions and examinations under oath; prepare summary documents.
9. Keep claim business partners updated on case status, litigation plans, strategy conferences, and pre-trial activities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (Required)

Compensation

The offered salary range is $66,800.00 - $120,650.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications. The candidate will be required to submit to a background investigation.
