Job Overview

The Senior Consultant II represents insureds and the Company in defending bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases. Responsibilities include preparing for and conducting hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare for and conduct settlements/dispositive proceedings (e.g., mediations, arbitrations).
  2. Appear in court for matter management conferences, hearings, and status updates.
  3. Investigate and pursue subrogation litigation as appropriate.
  4. Try cases, prepare motions, and develop legal strategies.
  5. Review new files, documentary evidence, and approve pleadings and discovery.
  6. Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
  7. Contact clients to discuss cases and answer questions.
  8. Conduct depositions and examinations under oath, prepare summaries.
  9. Keep claim partners updated on case status and strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Juris Doctor (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience (Preferred)
Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $66,800 to $120,650 annually, based on experience and qualifications. The role requires a background check. Allstate values diversity and inclusion and is committed to equal employment opportunity.
