Job summary

Wegman Partners in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced personal injury attorney (plaintiff's) with first-chair trial experience to lead and manage a dedicated team.

You will handle a high-volume docket from intake through trial readiness, mentor paralegals and staff, and develop strategic settlements and verdicts while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

Our client, a nationally renowned plaintiff's personal injury law firm seeks an experienced personal injury attorney (plaintiff's preferred) with trial (1st chair) experience. Will support and manage a team and have a lot of institutional cases to manage.

Qualifications include:

• Experience managing a litigation caseload from intake through resolution, including drafting pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters to clients in a clear, compassionate manner.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while taking ownership of cases and driving them forward independently.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively partner with and mentor paralegals, legal assistants, and other support staff.
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and achieving outstanding results.
• Personal injury litigation experience representing plaintiffs.
• Deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial experience.
• Experience independently managing a high-volume litigation caseload.
• Proven record of obtaining favorable settlements and verdicts.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a huge plus
• Familiarity with Arizona courts, judges, and local rules.
