The ideal candidate will be a strong researcher and writer who can independently manage cases, develop strategies, and deliver exceptional client service in a collaborative firm environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• 2–3+ years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of defense litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft and prepare motions, responsive pleadings, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Analyze written discovery, deposition testimony, medical records, and other case materials.
• Evaluate claims, assess risk exposure, and identify appropriate legal defenses.
• Work closely with insurance adjusters to provide timely litigation reports and case updates.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Assist with trial proceedings and develop cases toward favorable resolutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and excellent service.
