Job summary

Kaufman Dolowich LLP in Orlando is seeking an attorney to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate has 3–4+ years of Florida litigation experience and is admitted to the Florida Bar.

You will manage a varied caseload, draft motions, take and defend depositions, and collaborate with attorneys across offices. The firm offers mentorship, development opportunities, and a supportive environment with strong client exposure.

Qualifications

• Admission to practice law in Florida required.
• 3–4+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft and respond to written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare, draft, and argue motions.
• Participate in court appearances, status conferences, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings.
• Develop case strategy and manage day-to-day litigation responsibilities.
• Communicate directly with clients, providing strategic counsel and regular case updates.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and practice groups on complex and challenging matters.
• Assist with trial preparation and other high-stakes litigation activities.

The Orlando, FL office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking an attorney to join our growing litigation team.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to assume increasing responsibility

Preferred Experience

• Experience handling Employment, Professional Liability, and/or HOA litigation matters.
• Experience handling depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
• Experience managing matters independently
