The ideal candidate will be well-versed in California civil procedures and capable of handling a high caseload in a fast-paced litigation environment. The position offers a hybrid schedule following initial in-office onboarding.

Duties:

Represent clients in California state courts for unlawful detainer matters

Conduct and defend depositions

Deliver legal guidance through consultations, evaluating scenarios, and advising clients accordingly

Draft and respond to pre-trial motions, pleadings, and discovery documentation

Maintain effective communication with clients to foster retention and engagement

Manage a substantial litigation caseload from initiation through resolution

Requirements:

Active license to practice law in California

Proven oral advocacy and litigation skills

1+ years of jury trial experience

Familiarity with trial processes, courtroom decorum, and rules of evidence

Ability to work with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and educational backgrounds

Flexibility to appear in court multiple days per week

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

California State Bar admission in good standing
