Job summary

Knight Law Group, LLP, a California litigation firm known for Lemon Law, seeks a senior trial attorney at our Century City – Los Angeles, California office. The role requires 10+ years of litigation and a proven record of verdicts, with strong communication and a discovery-driven mindset.

The successful candidate will advocate for consumers against automakers and dealers, handling complex cases, managing depositions, and coordinating with outside counsel to advance a vigorous, nimble litigation

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
• Member in good standing of the California Bar
• At least ten (10) years of litigation and trial experience as a licensed attorney
• Significant experience in Arbitration, Coordinated Proceedings and Multi-District Litigation is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and the use of Attorney timekeeping programs, as well as Client file management
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Strong time management, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively on the development of trial strategy and assume first chair responsibility for trial efforts
• Conduct and oversee complex research projects in the prosecution of KLG cases
• Direct interface with specialized outside counsel on behalf of the firm and its clients
• Draft moving papers, oppositions involving novel and complex issues
• Appear at hearing for motions and oppositions
• Conduct depositions of PMK witnesses, apex employees, mechanical and fraud experts, etc.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement policies and proactively develop improvements to existing firm policies and procedures, including regarding client communication
• Timely resolution of issues that may arise

Education

J.D. from an ABA accredited law school

Member in good standing of the California Bar

With a heavy caseload to handle, Knight Law Group is seeking trial attorneys to work out of our Century City – Los Angeles, California office.

A successful candidate will have 10+ years of litigation experience, including a successful record of multiple jury verdicts and a representative list of bench trials and/or jury trials conducted as first chair to verdict. The candidate will match the firm's dedication to consumer advocacy by assisting clients in pursuing claims against car manufacturers and car dealers. The role calls for a hardworking, dedicated, discovery-driven, and nimble senior trial attorney with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.
