Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred or AA/equivalent with related experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to answer phones, assess, and screen for bedded programs.
• Detail-oriented with strong computer and EMR usage.
• Fluent in English; good listening and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient intake/transfer calls and prioritize bed capacity.
• Answer calls with initial assessment and screen for bedded programs.
• Ensure referral information is complete and accurately entered into EMR.
• Use multiple systems to place clients and monitor bed availability.
• Conduct ASAM screenings for clients seeking service.
• Act as liaison with hospitals and referral partners to ensure quality of care.
• Communicate program updates and clinical alerts within the team.
• Escalate referral information to treatment providers as needed.
• Coordinate transfer of information for medications and admissions.
