Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist during admitting, discharging, and transfers, ensuring patient safety and accurate data entry.
• Provide supportive, respectful, non-judgmental care to adult clients and assist goals in treatment plans.
• Assist with Case Management, including contact with clients, meetings, and referrals.
• Liaise with inpatient facilities, case managers, psychiatrists, therapists, and families.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and help develop care plans; report issues to the Nurse.
• Record symptoms and changes in patient safety status for the Nurse.
• Maintain a positive, courteous interaction with staff and clients.
• Collaborate as a team to deliver effective care and foster good working relationships.
• Work cooperatively and adapt to changes in the workplace.
