The Martha's Vineyard Hospital, a Mass General Brigham affiliated facility, is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join our remote-capable care team. You will provide patient-centered nursing care, document assessments, and collaborate with the care team to support safe discharge planning.
This flexible role requires 1 year of RN experience, active Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification, and strong communication skills.

PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary purpose of your job is to be responsible for the delivery of patient care in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations and established policies and procedures as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality care and safety can be maintained.
DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY: Supervises: LPNs, CNAs, Medical Assistants. Reports to: Nurse Manager or Practice Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Must be able to read, write legibly, speak clearly, and understand the English language. - Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion. - Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public. - Must possess the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel and the public.
