Job summary

Family Health Center of Worcester, Inc. is seeking a Triage RN to provide nursing care in a family practice/urgent care setting. The Triage Nurse will adhere to evidence-based protocols, ensuring timely care for patients while providing health care advice and coordinating services.

The ideal candidate is a graduate from an accredited nursing school, licensed in Massachusetts with BLS certification, and has at least two years of nursing experience, including telephone triage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; required BS in nursing preferred.
• Must be licensed as an RN by the Massachusetts State Board of Registration.
• BLS required.
• Two years of nursing experience, with one year of telephone triage in an ambulatory health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triages patients using Lippincott Triage Manuals for guidance.
• Provides health care advice and coordinates services.
• Follows up on abnormal labs to facilitate appropriate care.
• Documents in the patient's EHR according to policy.
