Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NYS RN license.
• Experience in a registered nursing role preferred.
• Strong computer literacy and knowledge of nursing protocols required.

Responsibilities

• Document verbal conversations and assess patient vital signs.
• Triage patient phone calls and prepare patients for visits.
• Create and document care plans based on patient symptoms.

Albany Family Medicine is looking for a Triage Registered Nurse to join their team! This is a full-time position. Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Open to Hybrid schedule after 6 months of employment*

Responsibilities

• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Assess vital signs and the reason for each patient visit.
• Triage patient phone calls: collect, analyze and create a well-documented plan of care for the patient based on their presenting symptoms and expected healthcare outcome.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.

Annual salary range: $32.00 - 45.50
