Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a dedicated LPN for the Neuroscience unit at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. This Regular-Full Time role involves direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, medication administration, and adherence to the Nursing Care Plan.
You will participate in health screenings, document accurately, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care for neurology patients.
Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital‑based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties.
The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal‑directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Nursing or completion of LPN program required.
Active LPN license required, BLS required. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required based upon department assigned.
