Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, ID, seeks a compassionate Triage Coordinator (CMA) to join our Axis Spine team. You will primarily perform phone triage, assess patient needs, and determine whether to schedule or direct to the ED.

Under supervision, you will support CMA duties, take histories, educate patients, and maintain accurate triage documentation. The role requires a CMA certification, BLS, and at least one year of CMA or LPN experience; commitment to HIPAA and quality patient

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• CMA certification with active status or LPN license as alternative.
• Experience with triage, patient communication, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients over the phone and determine next steps.
• Medically assess patient needs and direct care decisions.
• Record triage documentation in the patient chart.
• Room patients as needed and educate on meds and orders.
• Maintain HIPAA security and assist CMA duties as needed.
