Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Triage Clinician for the Weekend 1st Shift in Milford, MA. You will join the Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) team, delivering crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization, 24/7/365 support when needed.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and making rapid referrals to appropriate services, while supporting individuals in the community and during transitions to higher levels of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related clinical degree.
• Path to independent licensure (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT) required.
• Two years’ experience in mental health preferred.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
• Knowledge of substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the MCI program on weekends.
• Provide telephonic crisis support, screening, triage, and coordination of timely responses.
• Secure placements in detox or inpatient units and coordinate transfers to facilities.
• Provide direct clinical intervention on-site and in the community as needed.

The Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) program provides crisis and behavioral health assessment, intervention, and stabilization services 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and 365 days per year (24/7/365) for individuals who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
The mission of MCI is to respond rapidly, assess effectively, and deliver a course of treatment intended to promote recovery, ensure safety, and stabilize the crisis in a manner that allows the person served to receive medically necessary services in the community, or if medically necessary, in an inpatient or 24-hour diversionary level of care.
The Triage Clinician – MCI works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, certified peer specialists, family partners and recovery coaches, to provide core services including crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and post-stabilization.
This role plays an integral role in the daily operations of the Community Behavioral Health Center’s (CBHC) Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) component.

The Triage Clinician – MCI

• serves as the primary point of contact for the MCI program
• provides telephonic crisis support, screening, triage, and coordination of timely, appropriate response
• secures placements in detox units, inpatient units and diversionary levels of care and coordinates the transfer of persons served to accepting facilities
• provides direct clinical intervention services (including evaluation, stabilization, referral and follow-up) on-site and in the community as needed

Schedule

• Saturday/Sunday: 7am to 5pm

Pay Rate

• Unlicensed Clinician - $35.69/hr
• Independent Licensure - $38.25/hr
• Stacking differentials available too! Additional hourly rate of $1 for 2nd shift - evenings, $2 for 3rd shift - overnights, and $1 for weekend shifts.

Required Skills
