Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Business, Merchandising, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in product development, merchandising, design, or commercial product management.
• Experience with Walmart or other major US retailers preferred.
• Strong experience in Pet Products, Jewellery & Fashion Accessories, Home Décor, Kitchenware.
• Ability to identify commercial opportunities and translate trends into retail products.
• Understanding of sourcing, manufacturing, costing, and product lifecycle.
• Experience creating CADs, product presentations, and concept development.
• Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strategic mindset with commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive product development initiatives to grow Walmart accounts.
• Collaborate with Walmart buyers and internal sales teams to identify opportunities, seasonal programmes, and category expansion.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify new product opportunities.
• Support customer presentations, line reviews, and business meetings with commercially compelling product proposals.
• Contribute to category growth strategies aligned with clients’ merchandising priorities.
• Oversee CAD development, renderings, mood boards, and presentations.
• Manage end-to-end development timelines, sampling and milestones.
• Ensure packaging, testing, and compliance meet requirements.
