Job summary

Walmart Senior Manager, Product Development - Pets in Bentonville, AR leads cross-functional teams to drive pet product initiatives from concept through lifecycle management. You’ll coordinate sourcing, conduct root-cause analyses, and resolve issues to meet production timelines and merchandising goals.

The role requires strong communication, data analysis, and leadership to benchmark trends and guide creative direction while ensuring product specifications align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
• Experience in product development and lifecycle management.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve product issues.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of product specifications aligned with business/merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage communications with internal and external partners to drive product development initiatives.
• Identify and investigate potential issues during the product lifecycle and perform root cause analysis.
• Oversee sourcing activities and ensure timely completion of documentation for audits.
• Develop, monitor, and manage product specifications to meet quality standards.
• Direct product strategy implementation by analyzing data and providing insights to senior leadership.
• Lead multiple projects by setting priorities and removing obstacles.
