Job summary

PURIS is seeking an Operator to conduct trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation safely and efficiently. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, you will perform daily tasks across the field, operate equipment, and support crew with mechanical and logistical duties on projects.

The role requires ability to work in challenging environments, strong communication, and adherence to procedures to ensure quality and safety on site. Training and full benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate good communications and interaction skills.
• Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Must be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions and confined spaces. Position requires fit physical condition.

Responsibilities

• Checks and fuels vehicles and assists mechanic in performing repairs on assigned equipment.
• Sets up trench jacks
• Distributes notices to residents and businesses as instructed
• Chips Manholes
• Repairs Manholes
• Fuses Pipe
• Sets up winches and connect hoses
• Assists with install of liner, operates inverter, cut liner
• Restoration and clean up
• Connects services
• Sets up equipment
• Loads equipment
• Utilizes all safety equipment and follow standard operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned
