Job summary

Congruex is hiring an Equipment Operator in Denver, CO. The role requires experience with Micro Trenching Equipment or Mini Excavators and involves daily truck and equipment prep, safety compliance, and coordination with the foreman. CDL is a plus and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in telecom or underground utilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares truck and machinery daily, including oil checks, fueling, greasing, maintenance, and DOT checklist.
• Organizes and oversees inventory of tools and daily prep of truck and machinery.
• Surveys job site for obstacles (Blue Stakes, sprinklers) before digging.
• Loads and unloads equipment and operates backhoe or excavator.
• Digs trenches with hand methods near utilities before machinery works.
• Maintains safety practices and communicates safety needs to foreman.
• Completes daily paperwork (time cards, receipts, checklists, DOT forms).
• Travel may be required.
