Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking an Operator II (Mini Excavator) to join a 2–4 person crew in Colorado. You will operate heavy equipment, trench and place utilities for residential, multifamily, and commercial sites, following safety rules.

CDL Class A is required; candidates should have 3+ years in construction or related roles and experience with utility location and reading prints. This is an on-site position emphasizing safety and teamwork, with pay between $28 and $32 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience operating backhoes or mini excavators.
• 1+ year digging around underground utilities.
• 3+ years in a construction role.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Experience reading prints and underground facility sketches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maneuver heavy equipment on utility construction sites.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safety.
• Set up traffic control and assist with hand digging.
• Read utility prints and locate underground facilities.
• Follow safety regulations and company DOT procedures.
• Maintain required paperwork and logs.
• Work with team to safely excavate sites.
