Qualifications

• Six months of work experience in construction or related field.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position: sit, stand, bend, climb, lift up to 50 pounds, work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing, and laying pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
• Signaling equipment operators to ensure a safe and proper excavation has been dug
• Cutting, aligning, and joining sections of pipe
• Checking slopes for conformation to requirements, using levels or lasers
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Knowledgeable about and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as described in the company’s safety manual.
