Job summary

Gregory Forrest Lester, Inc. in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Tree Work Groundman to support our tree climbers and bucket truck operators from the ground. You will help ensure safe job sites, assist with gear and debris clearance, and contribute to efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the job-site by setting up cones, signs, and safety barriers; maintain a clear and secure perimeter around dropping zones.
• Assist tree climbers by rigging gear and passing tools/equipment up to the canopy.
• Safely operate and maintain chainsaws, wood chippers, leafblowers, and hand tools.
• Clear the client's property of debris by dragging brush, heavy logs, and raking debris, ensuring the area is left pristine.
• Work closely with crew leaders and team members to complete jobs efficiently.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
