Job summary

Gregory Forrest Lester, Inc., a Cincinnati-area tree care and landscaping company, is seeking a General Laborer to join our crew. You will work under crew leaders, keep job sites neat, and support landscape installations and maintenance.

You will operate equipment (zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers), perform routine equipment maintenance, plant and lay sod, complete hardscape projects, and help with lawn installations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Landscape Crew Leader in executing landscape enhancement plans.
• Operate equipment including commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Clean debris from customers’ properties.
• Plant, lay sod, trim, and prune as needed.
• Complete hardscape projects.
• Complete landscape and lawn installations.

We are looking for a General Laborer to work under the direction of our crew leaders, keeping job sites and properties neat and healthy. In this role, you will accomplish a variety of tasks such as mowing lawns, edging landscaping beds, trimming bushes, and laying mulch. We are looking for team members who have a willingness to learn, show up on time every day, and want to bring their best every time.

Job Description

• Assist the Landscape Crew Leader in executing landscape enhancement plans as directed
• Operating equipment, including commercial zero-turn riding mowers, brake-controlled walk behind mowers, line trimmers, blowers, etc
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Cleaning debris from customers’ properties
• Plant, lay sod, trim, and prune as the job requires
• Complete hardscape projects
• Complete landscape and lawn installations
