CSU Long Beach is seeking a Tree Trimmer II to maintain and trim campus trees under the supervision of the Grounds Manager. You will use ropes, climbing spikes, safety belts and aerial lifts to promote tree health and safety.

The ideal candidate has advanced arboriculture expertise, with experience in crown reduction, pruning, cabling, and removal, including use of rigging and power tools. A CA driver's license is required.

Formación

• Advanced arboriculture expertise and ability to safely climb and trim trees.
• Experience with pruning, removal, and cabling/brace work.
• Knowledge of aerial equipment and safety practices for high-altitude trimming.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, trim, prune, remove campus trees using climbing and rigging equipment.
• Evaluate and coordinate tree trimming with Field Operations Coordinator and Grounds Manager; data entry into ArborPro.
• Oversee projects requiring specialized equipment and supervise grounds personnel.
