Job summary

Wright Tree Service in Stillwater, MN is hiring a Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees and brush near power lines, using climbing equipment and ground tools. This non-exempt role involves loading, rigging, and performing tasks with safety as a priority.

You will work both aloft and on the ground, following precise guidelines, maintain records, and support a culture of safety. The job offers on-the-job training and overtime opportunities with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience in tree trimming or clearance work.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• CPR and First-Aid certifications required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license (CDL/DOT preferred).
• Herbicide application certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with manageable limbs and logs.
• Trim, remove, or fell trees using climbing gear and ground tools.
• Work aloft to cut branches and lower them safely with rigging lines.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment; perform routine vehicle/equipment inspections.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA regulations and cooperate with team members.
