Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking an Advanced Tree Trimmer in Minnesota. This role involves pruning and removing trees and limbs near power lines, using climbing gear, lifts, and hand tools to maintain tree health and appearance.

You will work with a team to safely perform duties, follow OSHA standards, and educate less experienced staff on proper methods. The job requires long hours, travel, and the ability to operate near hazardous equipment in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s or commercial driver’s license and DOT medical card as required.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with manageable size limbs and logs.
• Trims, removes and/or fells trees using climbing equipment and hand tools.
• Cuts branches from aloft using rigging lines and ladders; lowers material to ground.
• Operates during emergencies and assists with safety and site control.
• Maintains safety, adherence to policies, and proper records.
