Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a full-time Trimmer/Climber in Washington. This role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and maintaining tools and equipment, and loading or unloading materials while ensuring safety for crew and the public.

Qualified applicants should have at least 4000 hours of line clearance tree trimming experience, be able to work at heights, and pass pre-employment checks as required. A driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces, performing mentally/physically demanding work under unfavorable weather conditions while handling equipment or material.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Must have a minimum of 4000 hours of previous line clearance tree trimming expierience.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans debris and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
