Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber to join our field crew in Washington. This full-time, non-exempt role performs tree trimming, branch removal, and debris handling while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

We offer a Full Union Benefits Package, sick pay accrual, EAP, and competitive hourly pay based on Local Union 77 rates. A valid driver’s license is preferred, and pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods and climb ladders.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination and balance for at-height tasks.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Trimmed and removed trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service tools and equipment used in tree care.
• Cut and split debris; feed brush into woodchippers; load/unload trucks.
