Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a dedicated Trimmer/Climber to join our field crews in this full-time role. You will trim and remove trees, operate and maintain equipment, and assist in training new staff while ensuring safety and efficiency on each job site.

The position involves climbing, handling tools, directing traffic, and performing related duties to support reliable utility vegetation management services.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Feed brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Repair minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintain tool and truck condition.
• Direct traffic and relay hand signals.
• Set up barriers and warning signs.
• Assist in training new employees.
