Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for a Tree Trimmer-442. The role involves trimming and removing trees for utility line clearance, requiring climbing or ground methods with various tools.

On-the-job training is provided, and the position offers full-time hours with competitive hourly pay based on experience. Applicants should be 18+, capable of extended physical activity, and able to work long hours including emergencies, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights.
• Willing and able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies, holidays and weekends.
• Knowledge to identify tree and shrub species.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees by climbing with ropes, ladders, or from ground using saws.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, and related tools.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct work on job sites.
• Obtain access from property owners and communicate work details to customers.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and professional conduct on site.
