Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking entry-level and skilled trimmers and climbers for outdoor work in a full-time, non-exempt role. On-the-job training is provided to build a career in the Line Clearance industry.

You'll trim, top, and reshape trees to provide clearance for utility powerlines in all weather conditions. Responsibilities include operating tools, climbing when needed, coordinating crew tasks, and maintaining safety and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with the aid of ladder, safety belt, climbing line, or from ground using powered saws and pruners.
• Operates and maintains tools/equipment used for tree trimming.
• Plan, assign, direct, and coordinate work.
• Obtain permission from property owners to trim or remove trees.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations during work.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into woodchipper.
