Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees for clearance around utility lines. This full-time, non-exempt role requires climbing, operating arborist tools, and following safety protocols on job sites across Minnesota.

The position involves loading, unloading, and processing debris, with training provided in first aid, CPR, and equipment safety; union membership may be required. All tools are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while performing demanding work.
• Must be willing to join local union and pay union dues.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into wood chipper.
• Safeguards employees and public from hazards in the work area.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walk-ways.
• Travels and sets up job sites and performs related tasks as assigned.
