Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time work in Columbus, OH. The role involves trimming/removing trees, operating and maintaining trimming equipment, and supporting crew safety and efficiency on active job sites.

The position requires climbing, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather, with training available. Competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and the public.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
• Assists in training new employees.
