Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for a full-time, non-exempt position in Ohio. The role involves trimming or removing trees, operating and servicing tools, and maintaining safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders, on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• Must be willing to join local union and pay union dues.
• Valid Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits large debris into pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, operates trucks as assigned.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and safe.
• Assists training new employees.
