Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Ohio is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to join our crew. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming and removing trees, operating equipment, and maintaining safe work zones.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, perform physical tasks, and support training of new employees. We offer health benefits, retirement plan, EAP, and disability insurance with a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers to protect workers.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
