Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees and branches, operate and service tools, and ensure safety on site. This full-time, non-exempt role requires physical stamina and the ability to work from ladders at various heights.

Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior tree experience is a plus. A driver’s license is preferred. The job emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficient crew performance in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no prior tree experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.
• Pre-screen may be required (drug screen/background/MVR).

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent regrowth.
• Load/unload trucks and feed material into woodchipper.
• Set up barriers and protect workers and the public.
