Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming, branch removal, and related tasks. The role requires operating tools, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety on job sites. This entry-level opportunity offers hands-on training and exposure to a range of vegetation management activities.

Qualified applicants should be 18+, able to climb and work from ladders, and possess good hand-eye coordination. A driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
