Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Ohio for a full-time, hourly position. You will trim and remove trees, operate and maintain tools and equipment, and support safety while working near roads and public spaces.

The role requires climbing and handling heavy equipment in various weather conditions. Minimum qualifications include being 18+, high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and the ability to work at heights with good hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Repair minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Inspect and maintain tools and trucks for safe operation.
