Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Ohio. This full-time, non-exempt role trims, tops, and reshapes trees to provide clearance for utility powerlines and operates multiple hand and power tools. You will load/unload trucks and assist with training, while maintaining safety in all weather and terrain. A driver's license is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Keeps trucks and work area clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and public from hazards in and around work area.
