Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber (DL Required) for Ohio operations. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming or removing trees, operating tools, and ensuring safety on job sites and public spaces.

You will load/unload equipment, drive trucks, and assist in training new staff while maintaining vehicle and tool readiness. A high school diploma is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders, on uneven surfaces and in varying weather while handling equipment.
• Able to lift and carry objects as required.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and branches as needed.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and transport debris.
• Assist in feeding brush into woodchipper and maintaining clean work areas.
• Assist in traffic control and safety measures around work sites.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on tools and vehicles.
• Support training of new employees and ensure compliance with safety policies.
