Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber in Ohio to trim and remove trees, operate equipment, and maintain job sites safely. This full-time, non-exempt role involves driving, setting up barriers, and collaborating with customers and emergency services if needed.

Ideal candidates are physically capable, comfortable with heights, and possess basic education. Training on tools and safety will be provided; pre-employment checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
