Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Iowa City to trim and remove trees, operate and maintain equipment, and assist in keeping work areas safe and orderly. You will coordinate with crews, manage debris, and support training of new hires in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Applicants should be able to work at various heights, pass pre-employment screenings, and comply with safety protocols. This is a full-time, non-exempt role offering health benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and maintains trucks and work areas.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
