Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Wisconsin seeks a Trimmer/Climber for on-site tree trimming and removal duties. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with responsibility to operate and maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols. You will work outdoors in varied weather and be expected to lift, climb, and navigate challenging terrain.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• No fear of heights.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks as assigned.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
• Assists in training new employees.
