Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Chillicothe, OH. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming and removing trees, operating tools, loading trucks, and ensuring safety for crews and the public.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
• Assists in training new employees.
