Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in North Carolina seeks a reliable Trimmer/Climber to join our line crew. This full-time, non-exempt role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

You will trim and remove trees, operate equipment, load trucks, and help maintain job sites safely while protecting the public. No prior experience required; training provided for the right candidate.

Work well with a safety-first mindset; be prepared for outdoor work in varying weather and heights.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights in all weather.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Relays hand signals and directs traffic.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards.
