Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a dependable Tree Trimmer to trim, top, and reshape trees to clear utility power lines. The role supports utility maintenance operations in Napoleon, Ohio, and requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Entry-level friendly with a high school diploma preferred and a valid driver’s license. You will operate hand and powered tools, follow safety protocols, and assist with equipment maintenance and traffic control as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Able to work from ladders and varying surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools and equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walk-ways.
• Safeguards employees and public from hazards in the work area.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, and traffic control as needed.
